Robinson Players Alumni: Where Are They Now?
Colby Harrison '17

Colby Harrison is currently living in Kennebunk, ME and working for the Ogunquit Playhouse, a not for profit theater producing the finest Broadway musicals. He began as a Development Assistant in June of 2017, but has since then worked stints as a Marketing Intern, Front of House Staff, and Box Office Staff. During his time at Playhouse he has shadowed the Production Manager on two new musicals, "Heartbreak Hotel" and "From Here to Eternity". He has had the pleasure to work with names such as Sally Struthers ("All in the Family"), Floyd Mutrux ("Million Dollar Quartet"), Vincent Pastore ("The Sopranos"), and Sir Tim Rice ("Lion King", "Jesus Christ Superstar", "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"). Currently he is planning on a move to Boston to continue growing his career.
Colin McIntire '16

Colin McIntire graduated from Bates in 2016 and moved to Somerville, MA, where he is putting his degree in biology to work as a member of Massachusetts General Hospital's research animal care team. When he isn't taking care of cute, fuzzy animals at MGH, Colin auditions for productions with local theatre companies; he most recently played fictional Boston politician Kevin Murphy in Open Theatre Project's production of Murph.
Sam Myers '16

Sam is currently living in Brooklyn, NY, and is working as the Literary Fellow at Playwrights Horizons, an off-Broadway theatre dedicated to developing and producing new American plays. He reads plays that have been submitted to the theatre, writes evaluations of these plays, and corresponds with playwrights. Additionally, he is working as the dramaturg for the NYC-based Brouhaha Theatre Project.
Nick Auer and Max Pendergast '15

Nick, a two-time artistic director of the Rob Players and Max, two-time president of the Robinson Players, have their own theater company entitled "The Brouhaha Theater Project" in NYC.
As stated on their website, The Brouhaha Theatre Project investigates different relationships between the audience and performers in strange and exciting spaces. Their work is ensemble-based and multi-disciplinary, often interspersing found text with live music and dance
Founded by Nick Auer and Max Pendergast in 2015, Brouhaha aims to connect artists of many disciplines to devise new plays and performances. "We love making theatre that is bizarre, rowdy, and provocative."
Their first production, Tunnel Odyssey, (featuring Bates Theater alums Gunnar Manchester '15, and Hanna Allerton '15) opened on May 5th, staged in Prospect Park's historic and stunning Meadowport Arch.
